interaction

After wondering out of the bathroom to find that I got left in this crap hole of a town, I wonder around to figure out where I am. On my way I bump into Etienne and ask where I am. I introduce myself and start joking.

Antigone: The Feminazi

The difference between a man and a woman is that the woman has been protected and sacred in many cultures since the beginning of time. People have gotten used to women having much more protected roles. This is probably due to the fact that women bear children and in the past it was necessary to protect them for the future of the tribe. If there was a pregnant women then obviously it would be a problem to have them running around hunting things. This has changed to not letting them work because now the way we get our food is to work somewhere to be able to buy it. It carries on the traditional idea of men providing for women into modern terms, but it is no longer mandatory. There is no longer danger to get food. On top of that women these days don't have kids all the time just so that one will survive. This means that a woman can now have a child and not be worried about having another just to carry on the family. So now women are getting there independence since they just have to break the outdated tradition of not working and providing. From a male point of view sometimes we feel like we are doing what we are supposed to and may not be the individual feelings of the man.

Whats this in the bag? A human head! No just my ideas.

I think as far as fate and free will is concerned that we create a "collective fate." This can be shown as the principle of balls on a pool table. All the balls are destined for a pocket but which one depends on how the balls interact with each other. On a daily basis we are all "bouncing off" each other. This creates a random effect that will ultimately guide our fates as a collective. So a pool ball by itself on the table will go nowhere; in the same way we go nowhere with our own choices. If there was no one there from your birth or ever after would we be who we are now. I think the answer is no. We would have no direction as a true individual. Even in todays society even the loners are not alone since the internet brings loners together. It is impossible to be a true individual. A good example is "I am trying to be a non-conformist." If you hear that you've got a conformist. The "conformist" idea is now a movement as people all over the U.S. try to not "conform" all together.

Free Fallin'

"Ah god! It was true! All the prophecies!" - Oedipus p.990 line 67

The the play Oedipus Rex free will and fate play of each other in an ironic way. Though Oedipus believes he had free will through out the play; he had in fact no control over what was going to happen. He seems to beleive in fate but only up until when he was told that fate destined him to kill his father and marry his mother. He tried to evade fate at that point and try to the extent of his free-will get away from his fate. This story shows that often fate will pull free will into check for a time so as to bend it to what fate feels is best. This odd back and forth between the to is very well exemplified in this play. I feel that this reflects real life in many ways. We have free will where it doesn't matter but when it does fate will take over our life for a time.

Someone in the class!

This person is very loud. No one can possiblly stand to hear this person. I have never met someone more stupid or gulible. I have no idea how you get to be

like that. If there was a scale of stupidity then dog crap is higher up. When this person comes near everyone is like "Oh #@!&!" Its that bad. Ditsy beyond beleif

and more self-absorbed than anyone... ever. How can someone funtion at this level? I sure don't know. If I had to spend more time in a day with this person than I do

now I would have to be put in a mental instittution. Why? I would have tried to kill myself to get away from them. I think I need to take more general classes to get away.

This person thinks other peoples rules apply to them. They fget told to shut up and will keep on going. Why? Maybe "shut up" is a difficult concept. This person sometimes has issues with basic english. I can't stand this. I have the urge to show them this. I might as well read this aloud because they wouldn't even

realize that everyone just wrote about them. And even now they are still disobeying the teacher. They think out loud. I need to drop a class to get a way.
